The Story

Serenity Power is developing next-generation solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) systems that deliver clean, reliable, and fuel-flexible power. Our technology decarbonizes oil and gas operations by replacing diesel generators with efficient systems that can run on natural gas, hydrogen, methane, or blends. We are building scalable solutions to cut emissions, lower costs, and accelerate the transition to a net-zero energy future. The oil and gas industry relies heavily on diesel generators for remote operations, creating high emissions (CO2, NOx, SOx, PM), fuel costs, and regulatory risks. Operators experience growing pressure from regulators, investors, and communities to reduce their carbon footprint while maintaining reliable, off-grid power. With tightening climate targets and the rising cost of diesel, there is an urgent need for a cleaner, cost-effective, and scalable alternative now, not 10 years from now. After addressing this critical need in oil and gas, our solution can be expanded to other industries such as utilities, microgrids, data centres, and the built environment.
